WHO I AM
I am an outdoor guy who loves adventure. I’m also a natural-born storyteller and that’s why I love video. I’m a father and a teacher. For over twenty years, I’ve lectured and taught digital media production and digital ethics as the field has evolved. I taught film production and digital editing at the School of Visual Arts and the New School University in New York City.
I’m an avid skier, cyclist and climber and weave my passion for nature and the outdoors into my work whenever I can. I’m a Level III instructor and Children’s Specialist with the Professional Ski Instructors of America. If you have a project that combines the great outdoors with a positive message, I’m your guy. In fact, if you have any kind of video project, I’m your guy!
WHAT I DO
I write, produce, direct and edit.
For the past twenty years I have put my heart and soul into the craft of telling stories through film and video. During that time, I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with a variety of clients on a variety of projects. I’ve created video for personal projects (for weddings, Bat Mitzvahs or memorials), educational organizations, museums and non-profits and commercial work for Major Brands like American Express, Kraft, IBM and Pfizer through world-class Advertising Agencies like Oglivy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson.
HOW I DO IT
I start by listening. What story do you have to tell? What message are you looking to convey? Whether I’m producing something about a couple who share a passion for farming and living off the land or editing a commercial about loving your work for Office Depot, I focus on the story. I think about how to blend visual imagery, music and graphics to craft a video that not only tells a story and conveys a message, but one that grabs your attention and moves you. That’s how I do it.
